Leading SIR IL researcher Victoria Konstantinovna Antonova and SIR IL research intern Arseniy Buchatsky spoke at the 35th anniversary of Samara University's sociological faculty on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation, "Sociology and social work: modern educational and research practices."

The IV International Scientific Conference "Interaction. Integration. Inclusion: labyrinths of meanings and horizons of possibilities" has recently concluded. This year, 17 sections and a round table meeting were organized, which brought together more than 400 participants interested in the study and development of socio-cultural integration from different countries and regions of Russia.

On 13-14 May, the first in-person intensive of the HSE Predoc Programme for Preparation for PhD in Social Sciences and Humanities was held at the HSE St. Petersburg campus. Arsenii Buchatskii, a research assistant of our Laboratory and a student of the Joint «‎Master's-PhD» Study Track, was one of the 21 participants of the intensive, selected among 36 candidates, and shared his impressions of the school.

Last week the XIV Grushin Sociological Conference “Metamorphoses of Society and the Research Industry: New Challenges” took place, within the framework of which on April 12 our laboratory held the section “Space and Time of Social Change”.

The IL SIR team took part in the presentation of the master’s program “Sociology of the Public Sphere and Digital Analytics” at the Winter School of the HSE Faculty of Social Sciences in Sociology 2024.

On June 6, 2023, Victoria Antonova, a Leading Research Fellow at the Laboratory, was invited by the "Open Yourself" project took part in the public talk "Trends in inclusive employment".

Human Capital Multidisciplinary Research Center has published the twenty-second issue of the scientific digest. It presents the results of data analysis of the All-Russian survey of HR managers of large, medium and small businesses on the state and prospects of inclusive employment in Russian companies, as well as on factors that affect diversity management in the context of global challenges.

On April 24, 2023, the Laboratory hosted a seminar on the topic "Factors and barriers to the implementation of the values of transparency and accountability in socially oriented non-profit organizations of the regions of Russia".

On February 12, 2023, the Winter School of the HSE Faculty of Social Sciences was completed, during which participants – potential applicants of a master’s programme in Sociology - presented the results of research projects on topics proposed by the programmes and affecting a variety of spheres of public life.

On the 20-21th of October 2021 the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference 'Inclusive Education and Society: Strategies, Practices and Resources' is held in the mixed format, both online and offline. During the conference’s panel discussion 'Diversity, Equality and Accessibility as Strategic Concepts and Goals for the Development of an Inclusive Society' there were made five presentations.

The WCRC working group on workplace inclusion and diversity management organized its own panel at the 10^th World Congress of the International Council of Central and East European Studies.
