HSE, MGSU and Prosveshcheniye to Develop New Schools Together
On May 24, at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, top executives from HSE, the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU), and Prosveshcheniye Education Holding signed a cooperation agreement. As part of it, the two national research universities and Russia’s largest manufacturer of teaching and learning aids and services will suggest optimal spatial solutions for school buildings.

Centre for Technology Transfer to Be Established at HSE
The Russian government has approved a merger between German corporation, Bayer, and American producer of herbicides and genetically modified seeds, Monsanto. The main requirement for approval was that the advanced agricultural technologies be transferred by the corporation. A special centre established at HSE will coordinate the transfer.

The Centre for Strategic Research has published a brief version of Russia’s development strategy for the next six years. Experts from HSE also took part in the project.
Q.E.D. Mathematics Test at HSE
On March 24, a mathematics test 'Q.E.D.' (quod erat demonstrandum, meaning 'which was to be proved') will take place, organized by Yandex. It is open to anyone who is interested. As on previous occasions, HSE will be one of the test sites.

HSE’s Business Incubator Ranked 7th in the World by UBI Global
The UBI Awards Ceremony was held on February 22 at the World Incubation Summit at Ryerson University, Toronto. HSE’s Business Incubator has entered the ranking for the second in a row. In 2015, it was ranked 14th in the category ‘best business incubator managed by a university’ among more than 100.

'Cast-iron Logic of Russia', a book prepared by staff and students of the HSE Arts and Design School, has won the national award in the ‘Best Books and Publishers of the Year’ competition.
