of Russians agree that too much importance today is attached to the achievements of science and technology, which is to the detriment of the spiritual side of life.

One out of three respondents (33%) disagree with this opinion. Curiously, among the segment of the population that views itself as religious (i.e., those who attend church at least several times per year), the distribution of answers to this question does not differ from the average.

These data were obtained during a public opinion survey that was carried out for a Monitoring Survey of Innovative Behavior of the Population for 2014.
