One Way Towards International Recognition
Sergey Yakovlev presented at 'Joint Education Programmes between European and Russian Universities’ conference. The conference was organized in Moscow by the Delegation of the European Union to Russia.
The 'Joint Education Programmes between European and Russian Universities’ conference took stock of the research of joint programmes between Russian and European universities carried out by the Delegation of the European Union to Russia over the course of several years. The purpose of the research was to allow more active cooperation to be developed between the European Union and Russia in the field of higher education.
A final report on the results of such programmes’ research was presented at the conference, as was a catalogue of joint educational programmes. In addition, international experts and the heads of educational programmes and organizations presented at the event. All programmes that were included in the catalogue were reviewed by experts and are in full accordance with the European Union’s requirements for joint programmes. After expert review and confirmation by international partners (the London School of Economics and the University of London), the bachelor’s and master’s programmes of the International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF), along with other HSE programmes, were included in this catalogue.
In his report, ‘Quality Assurance in Joint Programmes as a Way to International Recognition,’ Yakovlev discussed the particularities of the educational programmes at HSE’s ICEF. He gave a detailed description of the role of the quality assurance system, which was created by ICEF and meets the requirements of Russian and British educational programmes. The quality assurance system contributes to the wide international recognition of ICEF graduates on global labor markets, as well as their further education.
